Don Wood - Gallery                                                                        Back to Members Gallery

I have always loved taking photos. I’ve captured street scenes, landscapes, still life and portraits primarily in London, Istanbul and Eryri (Snowdonia), and worked as a freelance photographer both in the studio and on location for ad agencies, publishers and the major film studios.

My favourite part of photography is observing the interplay of light. When direct, it creates texture, intriguing shadows, and saturates; when soft and diffused, a subject can subtly sing. Without it my world would be a very dark place.
